Pasque Harmony were delighted that despite a turbulent summer, their Al Fresco Garden Concert & supper went ahead last Saturday evening on 12th July 2008 raising in excess of £1,000 towards their annual fund raising efforts for The Pasque Charity through the generous opportunity offered for the 4th time by our host Denis Hibburd at Wayside Cottage in Barton-le-Clay.
Margaret Blenkin, Musical Director & Martin Hart, their accompanist led the choir to beautiful song in a wide and varied programme of popular, classic, swing, show & sacred music, that lilted on the Summer breeze to the capacity audience who in true British fashion braved the not so kind weather, all blessed by the fact that miraculously the rain stayed away all evening. After the Concert the wine flowed & a delicious finger supper prepared by members of Pasque Harmony was enjoyed & the evening reflected a real party atmosphere, no wonder this is such a popular event in the Summer calendar.
We would thank Denis for offering his lovely home & glorious garden, our super audience & those willing hands who got all the gazebos & marquee both up & down.
We presented £5,000 to The Pasque Charity on May 12th 2007 to the Chairman of Trustees, John Maddox at The Pasque Flower & Garden Festival, (a very wet & windy day for singing in a Marquee, but over 600 people braved the weather, the successful event raising more of those vital funds for our hospices).

Our last Concert with The Morriston Orpheus Choir on 29th October raised £16,681.90
